It's Just a Little Piece of Gravel

Have you ever got a piece of gravel in your shoe? Not anything really big, just a little, tiny piece that is insignificant. If the gravel is allowed to stay in your shoe, by the end of the day you have a blister and that little piece of rock now feels like it is as big as your foot. It's very painful.

It's the little things that are agitating. Those things we're not supposed to worry about keep us up at night. Those little "insignificant" things that if they are allowed to go unchecked bring about depression, heart attack or other debilitating results.

Jesus said, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (Matthew 6:25, 27)

May God grant us peace of mind and help us not to sweat the small things.

God bless you!
