Honoring God!!

One of my favorite t.v. shows was the Beverly Hillbillies. (The old series with Buddy Epsen as Jed Clampett). The premise of the show was about a poor family who struck it rich by discovering oil.

It was always funny how Milburn Drysdale always showed Jed and the family respect because of their millions of dollars in his bank. (can you guess how many millions?)

The Bible teaches us that we are to love God with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Basically, we are to honor God not because of what he can do for us, but because HE IS GOD!!
